Inspired by Sam Harlow-Black, made on the land of the Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation, Naarm/Melbourne.
Sam Harlow-Black sports ‘an urban hippie, sun-smart alternative to ordinary wedding gowns’ in the form of a uniquely Australian rainbow moomoo that celebrates being part of the LGBTIQA+ community. The blue background reflects ‘the setting of the happiest day of my life as I wed my partner of 9 years,’ Sam wrote. ‘A beach wedding loud and proud for my darling and I would certainly be a hoot! … Not a huge soirée, just you and me that day. Extravaganza by the sea.’
Srivilasa felt like one figurine looked a little bit lonely for a wedding day, so added a cat sitting on the train of the dress.
