Green with Orange Jug pairs an orange jug with a landscape set within an abstracted plane. This work exemplifies the way my practice dances between abstraction and representation—another kind of threshold that, here, is explored more formally. My practice investigates how domestic and creative spaces, caring responsibilities, and artistic practice intersect and overlap. Here, the jug becomes a symbol of containment—a vessel that evokes the female body, motherhood, and the domestic interior. It stands in contrast to the landscape and green abstracted space, inviting reflection on how both can coexist—how two states of being can be true at once.
