N.Smith Gallery will be making it's Art Toronto debut in October 2025. This cultural exchange offers Art Toronto audiences a rare opportunity to experience the rich artistic and cultural traditions of First Nations peoples from across the Southern Hemisphere, creating a meaningful dialogue between indigenous art practices across continents.

 

Art Toronto is Canada's only modern and contemporary international art fair. It has become an event of national importance attracting all major stakeholders in the arts community, including the nation's most important cultural institutions, major visual arts professionals, collectors and patrons.

 

Held at the centrally located Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Art Toronto presents over 100 international galleries showing exceptional work by national and international artists. The dynamic public programming includes curated exhibitions, docent-led tours, an engaging speaker series and video lounge. As part of this programming, every year Art Toronto commissions a curated exhibition designed to highlight influential topics in contemporary art.

 

Art Toronto also works closely with cultural organizations in the city collaborating on the Art Toronto MOCCA Benefit Edition with the Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art; coordinating the Opening Night Preview with the Art Gallery of Ontario; and partnering on the ever popular Power Talks with The Power Plant contemporary art gallery.
