Reviving the art of aute-making (bark cloth)

Exhibiting at this year's Aotearoa Art Fair is Nikau Hindin (Te Rarawa/Ngāpuhi). Through years of research and hands-on practice, she has re-established aute-making in Aotearoa, using traditional techniques to create works that reconnect Māori art with its Polynesian origins.
