Sydney Contemporary
We’re delighted to return to Sydney Contemporary 2026, presenting works by Joan Ross, Fiona Lowry, Thea Anamara Perkins, Natasha Walsh, Sally Scales, Christopher Zanko, Tom Blake, Aidan Hartshorn, and guest artists Robert Fielding and Betty Campbell. Together, these artists reflect the breadth of the gallery’s program, bringing diverse perspectives to contemporary Australian art through distinctive conceptual and material practices.
Our presentation explores the relationship between art, architecture, and lived experience through two interconnected environments: a traditional gallery setting and a domestic living space. By presenting works across these contrasting contexts, the installation invites audiences to consider how surroundings shape the way we encounter and experience contemporary art.
Alongside the booth presentation, Joan Ross will feature in Sydney Contemporary’s public art program at Pier Pavilion, Barangaroo, while Natasha Walsh and Aidan Hartshorn will participate in the fair’s talks program. As one of Australasia’s leading art fairs, Sydney Contemporary continues to provide an important platform for connecting artists with new audiences, collectors, and institutions.
