Job Type: Full-time, Tues – Sat 9-5. Some evenings required.

Position Summary
We’re seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Gallery / Personal Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about contemporary art, with excellent communication skills and a proactive, professional attitude. The Gallery / Personal Assistant supports the Gallery Director to coordinate projects and daily operations of the gallery, and plays an essential role in the support of administration, artists, and exhibitions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative support: preparing and editing presentations, correspondence, reports, documents, research
  • Diary management and booking travel
  • Assist with event planning and gallery functions

Key Requirements:

  • A genuine interest in contemporary art and artists
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organised with attention to detail
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a growing team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; familiarity with CMS or inventory platforms (such as Artlogic) a plus
  • Prior experience in a gallery, museum, or arts-related role preferred but not essential
  • Driver’s licence
